Dr. Catherine Teh
Dr. Catherine Teh is currently the co-Director of the Liver Center and Training Officer of the Department of Surgery in National Kidney and Transplant Institute. She also serves as the Director of the Liver Care Center and Chief of the Section of Hepatobiliary Pancreatic Surgery of the Makati Medical Center. She has been a leading member of the Network of Colorectal Cancer Multidisciplinary Teams in Asia Pacific Region (NECTAR) and also in the panel of International Expert Group on Oncosurge Management Of Liver Metastases (EGOSLIM) for the consensus guidelines on the management of liver metastases. She is also affiliated with St. Luke’s Medical Center, The Medical City and Chinese General Hospital in Manila.
Dr. Maria Luisa Tiambeng
Dr. Maria Luisa A. Tiambeng is a Medical Oncologist from the University of Santo Tomas, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery. She is a resident doctor for Internal Medicine in Cardinal Santos Medical Center as she is also one of its directors and their Chief of Medical Oncology. She is affiliated with University of the Philippines-Philippine General Hospital and the National Cancer Center of Singapore. Currently, she plays an integral part as the principal investigator on the second and third phases of the clinical trials on Targeted Therapy and Immunotherapy for lung, breast, and nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
Dr. Julieta Gabiola
Dr. Julieta Gabiola, MD, FACP is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at Stanford University. She is an Educator's for CARE faculty, teaching the Practice of Medicine at Stanford Medical School. She practices Internal Medicine at Stanford Express care, involved heavily in her foundation, ABC's for Global Health with a mission to improve chronic disease management and outcomes in Filipinos in the Philippines and in the U.S. She provides opportunities for global health immersion in the Philippines to students from high school to medical school. Her interest is in chronic disease management like hypertension and diabetes which are not only preventable but claim lives of so many people. Having been raised poor in a village in Pampanga, she wants to give back to the very same underserved population in the world. She co-authored an interdisciplinary textbook: Patient Focused Assessment, The Art and Science of Clinical Data Gathering published by Pearson. Most recently, she was instrumental in launching the first medical mobile clinic in Pampanga, Philippines. She is now involved in launching telemedicine device kits to augment video visits amidst the COVID 19 pandemic. She loves hiking, scuba diving and tennis. She is a mother of two wonderful and accomplished children.
